William Hugh Borrego, Sr., 85, of Cheyenne, died on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at the Kindred Transitional Care Center.
He was born on August 1, 1929 in Taos, New Mexico and had lived here for over 60 years.
Mr. Borrego served in the U.S. Army and was a mechanic. He enjoyed wood carving, making furniture, and motorcycles.
He is survived by his children, Gloria Borrego, Mary Ritz (Lonnie), Debbie Pacheco (Billy), and William Hugh Borrego, Jr.; a brother, LeRoy; a sister, Alice; nine grandchildren, Brandon, Jessica, Kelly, Billy Joe, Mayling, Salvador, Victoria, James, and Eliza; and numerous great grandchildren.
Mr. Borrego was preceded in death by his wife, Anastasia (Hernandez) Borrego; a daughter, Josephine Derosier; a brother, Charles; a sister, Evelyn; and a granddaughter, Margaret.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel.
