Trenton Andrew Maloy-Johnson, born July 26, 2001, passed away on October 31, 2026.
Trenton will be remembered as a funny jokester with a sensitive heart, someone whose presence carried both laughter and feeling. He loved food, loved being around the people and things that brought him joy, and moved through life with a creative spirit that found expression in many forms. Music was central to who he was. He spent time rapping, singing, and producing his own music and videos, building something deeply personal through his art. He also worked with DoorDash, and in the everyday rhythm of life he continued to pursue what mattered most to him.
He earned his HiSet at Laramie County Community College, an accomplishment he was proud of and one that reflected his determination. Among the achievements closest to his heart were his education, his music, and his children. Those who knew him saw how deeply these parts of his life mattered to him and how fully he embraced them.
Trenton found happiness in music, Minecraft, video games, basketball, and the outdoors. He enjoyed hiking, camping, and anything that brought him outside into open air and wide spaces. He was someone who could appreciate both the energy of a game and the peace of nature, carrying a love for simple pleasures and meaningful moments.
Above all, Trenton treasured time with his children. Spending time with his two little girls, Luna and Sole, brought him special joy. He also carried the memory of his daughter Aubriella, whom he lost, with love. At the time of his passing, he had a son on the way, a truth that speaks to the continuing reach of his life and love.
Faith was also a lasting part of Trenton’s story. He held Unity Missionary Baptist Church close and accepted Jesus Christ at a young age, a foundation that remained with him throughout his life.
He is survived by his mother, Naya Maloy, and his father, Andrew Johnson. He was raised by his maternal grandparents, Rodney and Zena Atkinson, whose care and presence were an important part of his life. He is also survived by his siblings, DeAvion, Janelle, Azhane, Kwintyn, and Ava; his aunt, Talena; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins who mourn him and will carry his memory forward.
Trenton’s life was brief, but it was filled with love, creativity, humor, and connection. He leaves behind memories of laughter, music, and the deep affection he gave to those closest to him. May his memory be carried forward in the songs he made, the joy he shared, and the love he gave so freely to his children and those who knew him.
