Trent Breon Dean, 49, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away on March 1, 2026, in his hometown of Cheyenne, Wyoming. Born April 11, 1976 , Trent spent his entire life surrounded by the community and family he loved deeply.
Trent worked as an excavator and forklift driver and was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. Outside of work, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Some of his favorite pastimes included fishing, cooking, barbecuing, playing bingo, and trying his luck at gambling. He was happiest when he was sharing laughs, meals, and memories with the people he cared about most.
He is survived by his greatest blessings, his daughters, Angelysia Breonne Dean (Kal) and Amarisela Serenity Dean, and his beloved granddaughters, Octavia Sanchez and Zendaya Sanchez. He also leaves behind his stepchildren: Andre Ganison; Nico (Ana) Ganison; Chance (Brigit) Ganison; Tiaunna Roberts; and Marquez Jefferson. Trent was also a proud step-grandfather to Elysiana, Queana, Aviana, Layla, Camariauna, Chance Jr., Gisele, Damacio, Ezekiel, Willow, Ezra, and Azaria.
Trent is further survived by his ex-wife and mother of his children, Tricia Dean; girlfriend, Kenya Jackson; former companion, Tricia Penaflor; his stepfather, Mark Lyle; his sisters, Loretta Williams, Ila (Glenn) Pearson, and Estell Dean; and his brother, Richard Dean Jr., affectionately known as “JuneBug.” He also leaves behind two nieces, Delena (Juan) Garza and Kristina Ferenzi; one nephew, Jalin Ferenzi; and two great-nieces, Rosa Garza and Mikayla Garza.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Dean and Loraine Lyle.
Trent will be remembered for his love of family, his generous spirit, and the many memories he created with those around him. His presence will be deeply missed but forever cherished by all who knew and loved him.
