Tonya Rae Allison-Southworth (Garrett)

Tonya Rae Allison-Southworth (Garrett), age 62, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2026, on Mother's Day. Born in Columbus, Ohio, Tonya later made her home in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where she built a life filled with love, creativity, laughter, and family.

Tonya was preceded in death by her parents, Carol and Jim; her brother, Carl "Buzz"; her sister, Michelle "Shellbug"; and her son Christopher. 

She is lovingly survived by her wife, Charlene (Char); her son, CJ "Bubby"; her daughter, Jordyn "Jordy"; her children, Erica, Caitlin, and Brennan; and her cherished grandchildren, Kierra, Harlie, Haven, and Jozlynn. 

Tonya was known for her incredible artistic talent and creative spirit. She found joy in music, loved playing and talking about Super Mario Bros., and spent many years as a daycare provider, where she cared deeply for every child she met. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she loved them with her whole heart.

A Celebration of Tonya's life will be held Saturday, May 23rd at 1:00 PM at New Kingdom Church of God in Christ 1120 W. 20th St. #1 in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
