Todd Allen Koenigs, 56, of Cheyenne, passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 31, 1969, in Appleton, Wisconsin, to Judith Gay (Lockery) Tardiff and adopted by his loving parents, Anne Marie (Johnson) Koenigs and Nicholas Herman Koenigs. Throughout Todd’s childhood, his father’s employment with the National Park Service moved them around to experience once in a life time adventures. Todd had a beautiful voice and loved to sing in choirs. Todd was a nationally ranked bench press champion. Lifting at his highest, 700 lbs, living up to his nickname, Kahuna. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and loved his time playing college football and wrestling. He studied range management and criminal justice. He spent time working with corrections and individuals with disabilities before he became a long-haul truck driver in 2002. In his final years, despite his physical challenges, he was still the life of the party and had a lasting impact on whoever crossed his path. Most of all, he enjoyed his time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughters, Shelby Anne Bowman (Deven), of Cheyenne, and Kellyn Clarissa Koenigs, of Gillette; one brother, Nicholas James Koenigs, of Cheyenne; three grandchildren, Sylas Lavelle Bowman, Kyriella Monae Bowman, and Keanu Allen Gillenwater.

Todd was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas Herman Koenigs, Anne Marie (Johnson) Koenigs, Judith Gay (Lockery)Tardiff, and one grandchild, Tyrion Nicholas Drue Bowman.
