Tandy G. Yeley

Gene “Tandy” Yeley of Pine Bluffs passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the age of 60. Tandy was born on April 7, 1966, in Kansas to Gene Yeley and Georgia Marie Palmer.

Tandy was affectionately known by many different names - T Man, Tandalynn, Uncle T, Uncle Tandy and Tandy Man.

Tandy was the life of the party, a friend to many, and above all, deeply loved his family. He enjoyed listening to music, singing, watching his latest favorite shows, camping, fishing, cheering on the San Francisco 49ers, bowling, and spending time at family gatherings. He never wanted to miss a night of karaoke at the Knotty Pine Saloon.

A true jack-of-all-trades, Tandy worked many jobs throughout his lifetime. He especially enjoyed his time working with pigs at the pig farm in Albin. Tandy had a deep love for animals, with a special place in his heart for Sammie and Alpha, who are by his side once again.

Tandy is survived by his sister, Neva Ritter; his brother, Victor (Darci) Yeley; his nieces and nephews, Kevin Yeley, Laura Gensmen, Robbie Gensmen II, Crystal Yeley, Amber Yeley, Christina Yeley-Ritter, Christian Ritter, Heidi (Harley) Miller, Shane Day and Adison Dula; as well as his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kaiden, Freya, Mason, Lilianna, Rowan, and a baby boy on the way.

Tandy was preceded in death by his parents and great nieces, Hailey and Bailey.

Funeral services will take place Friday, May 22, 2026 at 2 p.m. at the Pine Bluffs Community Center. A reception will follow at the Knotty Pine Saloon for karaoke in true “Tandy” style. The family would invite you to wear purple or 49ers gear in his honor.
