Star S. Ray, 64, of Cheyenne, died Saturday, December 5, 2015 at her home.
She was born April 12, 1951 in Joplin, Missouri, a daughter to Bernard Carl and Julia (Robinson) Bevins. Star moved to Cheyenne at a young age and was a longtime resident here.
Star had a tremendous love of animals, gardening, and most of all, her husband. She was a horsewoman and a beloved neighbor to all.
Survivors include her husband, Hugh of Cheyenne; a sister, Pamela Calande of Cheyenne; and a niece.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be at her Church, Happy Jack Country Church on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 2:00 p.m., Guy Landers will officiating.
The family asks that Memorial Contributions be made to the Black Dog Animal Rescue.
