Shirley Ann "McWhorter" Steiner born May 16, 1935, to Clem and Florence Mcwhorter in Olustee, Oklahoma She was raised with her four siblings in Oklahoma City OK.

Although she never wanted to date a service man, she met the love of her life Marvin "Ed" Steiner while he was in Navy boot camp and got married in 1953 moving to Chorpus Christi TX then San Diego CA during his naval career.

They took their small family to Kansas City KS so Ed could attend Airline training school which ultimately took them to Cheyenne WY, Denver CO, and Salt Lake City UT before returning to Cheyenne in retirement. Blessed with the ability to travel they were able to go and see everything they wanted to.

Shirley is proceeded in death by her parents, and all her siblings and recently by her husband of 72 years "Ed" Steiner as well as their only son Marvin Steiner. She is survived by her Granddaughter Chandra (Mark) Great grandchildren Jaci Schneider, Kathryn (Colby) Campbell and Dalton Titus as well as six great grandchildren.

In death, just as in life Shirley found a way to follow the love of her life Ed once again.
