Shirley Ann Dierks

Shirley Ann Dierks, 91, died April 3, 2025, at home. Shirley was born December 3, 1933, in Broken Bow, Nebraska to James and Etta Mae Roberts. Shirley was the eldest of three children.

Shirley graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1951. She married her high school sweetheart, Gary Dierks on June 13, 1952, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. They had 3 children Cynthia, Doloris, and Jeffery.

Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family as well as her church family. She spent her free time sewing and enjoying her flower gardens.

She retired from Key Bank after 20 years in the banking industry.

Shirley is survived by her three children, Cynthia (Dave) Shapiro of Prescott Valley, AZ, Doloris (Paul) Robirds of Hillsdale, WY, and Jeffrey (Ronda) Dierks of Hillsdale, WY; sister, Helen Byram; six grandchildren, Tomi (Slade) Davis, Shawn (Mary) Shapiro, Justin (Misty) Dierks, Todd Robirds, Tony (Melissa) Robirds, Candy (Tristan) Gillaspie; nine great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Robirds, Jazymne Wilson, Anwen Robirds, Kelton Robirds, Kolbe Dierks, Lauren Gillaspie, Rowan Davis, Marianna and Isabella Shapiro; and one great great-grandchild, Taisley Wilson.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Gary, of 67 years; parents James and Etta Mae Roberts; sister Linda Martin; and one granddaughter, Shannon Shapiro.
