Shelby Elizabeth Bowman (Chavez), born on December 11, 1972, in Denver, Colorado, passed away on July 6, 2025, in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Shelby’s early years in Denver were filled with adventure and laughter, laying the foundation for a life that would be rich in experiences and connections. Known for her warmth and compassion, Shelby formed lasting friendships and relationships that spanned many years.
Throughout her life, Shelby was celebrated for her resilience and enthusiasm for new experiences. Her presence was a gift, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Tony Bowman, sons Shane Estrada, James "JD" Estrada and Anthony Estrada, grandkids Jazelle, AJ, Ileah and other grandchildren, sister Tina Curry, nieces Angel Harris, April Garcia and Micky Morales, nephew Alan Romero and many other family members.
She loved her grandkids more than anything and they were her reason to keep going. She will be lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched. Her legacy of love, strength, and resilience will continue to inspire those she leaves behind. As we reflect on her life, we honor the beautiful memories she created.
Shelby will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as her spirit lives on in the smiles of those who loved and admired her.
