Shawn “Lori” Laureen Randall, 66, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away peacefully on October 17th after a long and courageous journey with Multiple Sclerosis. Lori was born Dec 2, 1958, to Gerald K and Sharon (Henry) Parsons in Sterling, Colorado where she spent her life rooted in the people and places she loved most. She was known for her gentle spirit, her steady strength, and a kindness that touched everyone who knew her. Lori worked as a nurse for Sterling Regional Medical Center, as well as for doctors and insurance organizations, caring for patients with compassion and expertise. Lori found joy in life’s simple pleasures — listening to music, spending time with her family, and finding beauty in everyday moments. Her love for the Lord was the foundation of her life, and her faith remained steadfast and childlike, even through the hardest seasons.
She is survived by her parents, GK and Sharon Parsons; children, Mariah (Andrew) Kochis and Austin Randall; her three cherished grandchildren, Sydney, Jackson, and Maxwell; siblings, Blaine (Nina) Parsons and Dawn (Bruce) Benham; and many friends and loved ones who will carry her memory in their hearts. She was proceeded in death by her grandparents, Cecil and Mildred Henry and Raymond and Marjorie Parsons.
A brief memorial service will be held at Faith Cornerstone Church in Sterling, Colorado on Nov. 22nd at 1:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in her memory at this link: https://donate.nationalmssociety.org/campaign/Shawn--Lori--Randall
Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now whole, healed, and free — truly alive and living fully in the presence of the Lord she loved so dearly.
