Sharon Keetley, 77, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away peacefully at Davis Hospice in Cheyenne with her family gathered at her bedside.
Born December 8, 1948 in Hibbing, Minnesota, Sharon was the beloved daughter of Lawrence and Malinda Rancour. She later split her home between Wyoming, Alabama, and Michigan, where she built a full and devoted life with her husband, William Keetley. Together they shared 53 years of marriage, a partnership marked by steady love, shared responsibilities, and the quiet strength of a long life spent side by side.
Sharon was a devoted mother to her three children—Leonard, Daniel, and Sarah—and took deep pride in the family they built. She was equally cherished as a grandmother to her seven grandchildren: Ashton, Jesse, Mackenzie, Tom, Chris, Dave, and William.
She found lasting joy in the natural world around her. Sharon especially loved the changing seasons and the rich colors of autumn—the deep reds, golds, and oranges that painted the landscapes she so admired. Music was another constant source of comfort and pleasure throughout her life, something she returned to again and again.
Those who knew her will remember a woman of gentle presence, steady devotion to her family, and an appreciation for beauty in its simplest forms. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through her children, grandchildren, and all who held her dear.
Sharon will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
