Samantha Marie Dennis, 38, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away on August 12, 2025. Born on June 27, 1987, in Sheridan, Wyoming, Samantha brought light and creativity into the world from an early age.
Samantha was the beloved daughter of Lori and Tim Steinmetz. She grew up surrounded by a large and loving family.
A devoted mother and wife, Samantha cherished her children and husband. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Loren Dennis; son Zane Dennis; daughters Lyra Dennis, Tabatha Johnson, Ramie Johnson and Kali Vollmar; and stepson Christian Dennis. She is also loved and survived by father Tim Steinmetz; mother Lori Steinmetz; brothers Jeremy Steinmetz(Martha), Christopher Steinmetz(Stacey), Nathan Steinmetz; sister Cassandra Wilhelm(Joey); maternal grandmother Una Cole; paternal grandparents Ted and Merna Evanoff; uncles Joesph Cole(Lynn), Daniel Cole, Michael Evanoff, Mathew Evanoff(Jillian); aunts Jerri Cruz(Abel), Renee Cole, Kim Fox(Jim); father-in-law Michael Dennis, mother-in-law Cinthia Dennis.
Her home was filled with warmth, laughter, and the values she held dear. She worked tirelessly to instill biblical principles in her children’s lives and led by example through her faith.
Samantha attended Capital City Church and found great strength in her relationship with the Lord. Her love for God shaped her outlook on life and inspired those around her, always striving to create a home grounded in spiritual truth.
An artist at heart, Samantha had a passion for drawing and sketching. She poured herself into every piece she created. Beyond art, she found true happiness in spending time with her children—moments filled with love that will be treasured forever. Along with her children; Samantha's testimony was deeply rooted in the Life Choice Pregnancy Center. Life Choice had enormously helped with strengthening her faith and bonds in the family. She volunteered and gave her testimony for many pregnant women and families to help and guide.
Samantha was preceded in death by her uncle Thomas Evanoff, whose memory remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Her passing leaves a profound void in the lives of those who knew and loved her. May Samantha’s memory bring comfort to all who mourn her loss and may the legacy of love she built within her family continue to shine brightly.
A Celebration of Life will be held on August 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Capital City Church 1800 E. Pershing Blvd.
