It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ryder Leigh Steever, who left this world unexpectedly on August 5, 2025, in the comfort of his home. Born on January 19, 2025, Ryder filled the lives of those around him with joy and laughter during his brief time with us.
Ryder had a smile that could illuminate the darkest of days, a radiant expression that warmed every room he entered. His striking blue eyes sparkled with innocence and wonder, capturing the hearts of everyone who was fortunate enough to meet him. His laughter, a beautiful sound, was truly contagious—it lit up the spirit of those around him, reminding us all of the simple joys of life.
Even at such a young age, Ryder was a remarkable little person. Ahead of his time, he was eager to explore the world, already indulging in baby food by the tender age of three months and showing his insane desire to walk. A true water enthusiast, he reveled in taking baths, splashing water joyfully, leaving delight and laughter in his wake. His fondness for music filled his surroundings with a magical ambiance, and as a devoted fan of Mickey Mouse, he brought smiles and a sense of wonder wherever he went.
Ryder's love extended deeply to his three brothers—Zander, L.J., and Noah—bonding them in ways that only siblings can understand. He cherished every moment spent with them, forming connections that were both precious and profound. Together with his loving parents, Jayson Steever and Ashley Pelton, Ryder was a blessing, adored by all who crossed his path. He also held a special place in the hearts of his beloved grandparents, aunts, and uncles, each of whom saw the beauty and light he brought into their lives.
As we gather to honor and celebrate the life of dear Ryder, we invite family and friends to join us for a memorial service on August 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Though Ryder's time was far too short, the love he radiated and the joyous memories he created will forever be etched in our hearts. He made every day brighter, and his spirit will continue to shine through the lives he touched. Ryder Leigh Steever, you are dearly missed, and your legacy of love will forever remain alive in us all.
