Russell Joy

Russell A. Joy of Torrington, WY passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne following an extended illness. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be determined at a later date.

Russell was born November 11, 1961 in Scottsbluff, NE to Jackie A. and Stella M. Joy.

Russell grew up in Cheyenne, WY and Athena, OR and spent most of his adult life working various jobs around Montana and had recently relocated back to Cheyenne, WY.

Surviving Russell are his daughter Kandra (Tyler) Fordley of Richland, WA; son, Kyle Joy (Ashley Crawford) of Richland, WA; mother, Stella Joy of Cheyenne, WY; Sisters Sandra (Mark) Mikesell of Torrington, WY; Marilyn (Jerry) Lane of Medford, OR, and Darla Joy of Weston, OR; Grandchildren Aleigha, Mikaela, and Khalil Fordley and Trystan and Addison Joy all of Richland, WA. Also surviving him are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Proceeding him in death were his maternal and paternal grandparents, his father, his wife Kim, and numerous other family members.
