Roy A. Brown

Roy Alton Brown, 82, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away on August 22, 2026, in Loveland, Colorado. He was born on July 14, 1944, in Wilkinson County, Georgia, to Benjamin O. Brown and Jimmie C. Brown.

Roy graduated from Bleckley County High School in Cochran, Georgia, and joined the U.S. Air Force immediately after graduation. He served his country with dedication and retired from the Air Force in 1983 after many years stationed at F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne. Following his military service, Roy continued his career as a civil servant at F.E. Warren, retiring in 2003.

Roy is survived by his wife, Lois (Erickson) Brown; his sons, Troy Brown and Terry Brown; their wives, Kirsten Brown and Andrea Person; his niece, Karen Radkowski; three grandsons; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin O. Brown and Jimmie C. Brown.

Graveside services will be held at Cheyenne National Cemetery September 9, at 11:00 a.m., which will include military honors.
