Rovilla M. (Stutzman) Seward passed away on August 13, 2025, in Cheyenne. She was born to Frank and Margaret (Downes) Stutzman in Wilmington, DE on January 28, 1941, the oldest of 7 children.
Rovilla and Carl met in Delaware and were married in 1962. They remained together until his death in Oct 2024. Rovilla and Carl made their final long distance move from Delaware to Southern California in the spring of 1978. Rovilla worked at Northrop from 1978 until she retired in 1998. Carl and Rovilla moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming in 2023 to be near family in their aging years.
Rovilla enjoyed sewing in her younger days. As she got older, she enjoyed puzzling and spending time with her family. She enjoyed listening to classical music. She would even sit in quiet with her 2 dogs Mickey and Lilly.
She is survived by sisters Margaret Bennett and Linda Lyons; brothers Tom Stutzman and Frank Stutzman; daughters Robin, Brenda, Tina and Mary; as well as more than 60 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
Rovilla was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Frances "Franny" and Joann; husband Carl; son Mark; and granddaughters Misty and Crystal.
Rovilla suffered from Lupus and diabetes for many years. She is also a breast cancer survivor.
She fought hard for a long time. She was every bit of feisty and stubborn, all the way to the end.
She is now at rest with our Savior. She was loved and will be missed by many.
