Rick Albert Mitchell

Rick Mitchell passed through the Lord’s heavenly gates on August 4th, 2026 leaving behind family and friends who loved him deeply with countless memories that will bring both smiles and tears in the days ahead.

Rick was a fun-loving, carefree man who impacted the lives of everyone he met. He was a lover of all things this life was willing to bring forth for him and his thirst for life echoed that; in the end, it was just simply apart of who he was and how he traveled through life. He lived life his own way and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed good times with all who were close to him and brought a personality and presence to his family that will not soon be forgotten.

Rick is survived by his Mother Sharon; Sister Brenda; Brother Cory; many nieces and nephews; and an even larger extended family of relatives and loved ones who will miss him dearly.

Rick now follows his Brother Jay Warren Jr. and his Father Jay Warren Sr. into everlasting paradise. Though saying goodbye is difficult, his family and friends can find comfort in the words of Jesus. (John 14:1-2) “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”

There is comfort in believing that Rick and his brother and father are together once again.

Rick’s life will be remembered through the countless stories that will continue to be told, the laughter he shared, and the memories that were made with all the people he loved. His passing leaves an empty place in the hearts of his family and friends, but his memory will remain for generations to come. Rest in Peace Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, and Dear Friend. We love you and will remember you always.
