Rebekah Lynn Schaffer, 49, passed away at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with varies health issues starting in 2018. She was born in Dallas, Texas to Susan (Dulemba) Lucas and Ron Dulemba.

With a strong work ethic, she excelled in every kind of work no matter if was babysitting, fast food, accounts receivable, or working at the state’s insurance department. In 2009, was where she found her true calling. After the traumatic birth of her youngest daughter, there was a long stay in the NICU at Children’s Hospital where she learned to love doing “cares” for her daughter and decided to become a nurse. She didn’t have patients, she had family. She made life long connections no matter where she was. She didn’t put on a cape but she was a superhero to so many and not just in the nursing world. She loved being with family no matter what they were doing. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, movies, driving the golf cart, and supporting the local Special Olympics. In recent years, she decided to invest in a food truck (Dot’s Kitchen) as a hobby for the whole family.

She is survived by her mother Susan (Lanier) Lucas and father Ronald (Peggy) Dulemba. Mother-in-law Linda (Tony) Algien and father-in-law Steve Koch. Loving husband and best friend of 26 yrs Jamie, and her pride and joy her beautiful daughters Camberlynne and Abbygail. Sisters Debbie (Ned) Gurule and Jennifer Bengston. Brother Joe Dulemba. Sister-in-law Jennifer Schaffer Nieces and nephews Stefanie (Cameron) Bengston, AJ (Shay) Lampshire, Timber (Lexi) Lampshire, Brandalynn Downey and number of aunts and uncles near and far. She will be missed by so many is an understatement.
