Michael Timlin

Michael “Mike” Edward Timlin, 70, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed peacefully in his home on April 13, 2026.

He was born on May 9, 1955, in Powell, Wyoming. He graduated from Pine Bluffs High School in the Class of 1974. Shortly thereafter, he married his former spouse, Carla Maudlin, and had two sons. He went on to pursue an array of careers, including welding, working for the railroad, the oil industry, the stock market, and property management.

Michael will always be remembered for his passion for hunting, fishing, the outdoors, stock investments, and Texas Hold’em. He also took care of his family, including his favorite niece, Brittany Timlin, and his sister, Sheri.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Robert “Bob” Timlin and Barbara “Bobbie” Theobald.

Mike is survived by his sons, Rocky (Rachel) Timlin and Victor (Amber) Timlin; his grandchildren, Rocky Timlin Jr., Neveah Timlin, and Henry Timlin; and his siblings, Vickie (Warren) Fry, Sheri Timlin, and Carla (Brad) Chavez. He is also lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, Lanae Fry-Williams (Frosty), Warren Fry III (Brynn), Brittany Timlin, Alicia Hicks (Colton), and Ashly Stolz (Britain), his Uncle Dean Gillen, along with many other family members and friends whose lives he touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens, located at 4701 Christensen Road in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
