Melody May Darby

Melody May Darby, 50, passed away on June 22, 2026. She was born on October 2, 1975, in Edmonds, WA to Brad and Nancy Buckner.

Melody was a devoted mother to three wonderful children, a loving sister to two siblings, and a cherished daughter to her parents. Her energy, spunk, and zest for life touched everyone she met. Melody truly lived life to the fullest, always embracing each day with joy and determination. She loved to spend her time at the lake and in the mountains and treasured every moment spent with friends and family. Mel was truly the life of the party, a person that could always be depended upon, and someone who would always give you an honest answer. She will be missed dearly.

Melody is survived by her sons Daltin (Angelina) and Dustin Darby; daughter Dalaynee White; father Brad Buckner; mother Nancy (RJ) Cline; sister Lorrie Buckner-Wells; brother Chance (Kassidy) Cline; grandson Demetrius White; granddaughter Khadijah Culp; long-time companion Phil Reed; her beloved pets; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be held on July 10, 2026, from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the Forum 619.
