Marvin "Ed" Steiner was born October 22, 1932, to Henry Paul and Bertha Mae "Wells" Steiner in Ft. Collins CO. The last of 10 children he was affectionately known as to the family as "Babe". He passed away December 24, 2025, after a brief illness at Davis Hospice Center of Cheyenne WY.

Raised in Timnath CO he graduated Timnath HS in 1950 receiving a football scholarship to LaJunta college. Instead, he joined the Navy serving our country for four years during the Korean War. This is when he met the love of his life Shirley Ann "Mcwhorter" and they were married December 1953 then welcomed their only son Marvin E Steiner II in October 1954.

Moving to Cheyenne WY he went to work for Western Airlines that he would turn into a career. Taking them to Denver CO and Salt Lake City UT before retiring from Delta Airlines and returning to Cheyenne WY.

Ed spent his retired years enjoying the simple and quiet parts of life, working in the yard, balancing numbers, and keeping the family moving in a forward direction.

Ed was proceeded in death by his parents, siblings, and his son. Survived by his wife Shirley Steiner, granddaughter Chandra Steiner (Mark Titus), great grandchildren, Jaci Schneider, Kathryn (Colby) Campbell and Dalton Titus as well as 6 great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Wednesday December 31 at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens at 10am.
