Maria De Jesus Stutzman passed away on October 23, 2026, in Cheyenne. She was born on August 21, 1939 in Teptitlan Jalisco, Mexico.
Maria worked in the hospitality industry and was a member of Centro de Alabanza Jesús Es La Vida.
Maria loved beautiful flowers and especially enjoyed being surrounded by her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren brought her great joy, and family remained an important part of her life.
Maria is survived by her three sons, Miguel Peña of Greeley, Colorado, Hector De La Paz Sr., and Jose J. De La Paz of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and her three daughters, Susie Taylor of North Carolina, Maria Leticia Gonzalez of Riverside, California, and Angelica De La Paz of Mexico.
She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 10:00 am at Restoration Fellowship International Church. Interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO at 2:00 pm on Thursday November 5, 2026.
