Larry Eugene Romberger, born on October 8, 1938, in Ft. Collins, Colorado, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Larry lived a life marked by kindness, generosity, and a warm smile that touched many.

Larry was born to Roy and Hilda Romberger (Wolfe), both of whom have preceded him in death. He proudly served his country and retired from the Air Force, a testament to his commitment and dedication.

Known for his love of life, Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting, gambling, and collecting eagle trinkets—hobbies that reflected his adventurous spirit. He shared many joyful moments with his wife, Susan Romberger (Heseltine), especially their times spent together in Las Vegas, where his big smile was admired by many.

Larry loved everyone he met and was always ready to help anyone who needed assistance. His caring nature made him a cherished figure among family and friends.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Susan; daughter Denise Romberger; son Leonard Romberger; and his brothers Robert, Terry, and Ron. Larry’s legacy continues through his grandchildren Bri Sellner, Greg Sellner, Mathew Sellner, Devin Romberger, and his great-grandchildren Shaylyn Juarez and Tristan Barker.

A memorial service to honor Larry’s life will be held on April 16, 2026, from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at the Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Following the service, there will be a gathering at The Gathering Place from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.

Larry Eugene Romberger will be remembered for his loving heart, his unwavering support to those around him, and the joy he brought into the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.
