Laetitia “Letty” A. Swagger (69) of Cheyenne, WY passed away peacefully at home on June 12th, 2026. She was born on September 24th, 1956, in Providence, RI to parents Lewis J. Swagger, Sr. & Rose Assunta (Vendetti) Swagger.

Laetitia holds a bachelor's degree in Zoology from University of Rhode Island and worked as an Environmental Specialist for over 45 years across the East and West Coast. She loved the outdoors whether it was taking a walk in the snow or sun or keeping up the yard and house. In her younger days, she was an avid skier and swimmer. She also was a devoted “kitty mommy.”

Laetitia will be remembered for her caring and generous nature. She didn’t know a stranger; she would make everyone welcome in her home. Family and friends had an open invitation to stop in at any time, and you could not leave with an empty stomach.

She is survived by her partner, Stephen Karl Miller, of over 20 years and brother Mark Swagger. She is predeceased by her brother Lewis J. Swagger, Jr., and survived by her sister-in-law Margaret Swagger and eight children. A loved Aunt to eight nieces and nephews and their children on the East Coast: Adam Swagger and his wife Dawn (Nicholas, Harry), Rebecca Swagger-LaBonte and her husband Ronald, Seth Swagger and his wife Tara (Harvey, Joseph), Tristan Mioduszewski and her husband Jason (Charlotte, Theodore), Ashley Ladero and her husband Pablo (Christian, Julian, David), Nathan Swagger (Cheyenne, Wesli), Alexander Swagger, and Elizabeth Swagger and her husband Lucas. She had beloved friends (and their children) she called family on the West Coast: Linzie Bejune and her husband Chris (Bellamiee, Laurel, Hunter, Deckland), Josh Kight and his wife Mauricea, Jeffery Parish and his wife Kristine (Jameson, Corbin, Sarahlynn), Mishanda Sanders and her husband Mark (Marlee, Myles). And best friends Barb and her husband Mike Kight and Debbie Parish for over 20 years. Known as “Auntie Letty, Aunt Boo and Aunt Popo,” she was a loving Great Aunt to twenty.

The family will hold a private gathering after cremation and plan to celebrate her life this summer. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to a no-kill shelter.
