Kathleen Vandeventer

Kathleen Vandeventer of Cheyenne passed away suddenly May 26, 2026. 

Kathy had many careers including, but not limited to: A Max Factor representative, cosmetologist, stylist, and manicurist; educating both Max Factor employees as well as customers. She was an advertising executive, both writing and directing adds for Wyoming Tribune Eagle and, later, TCI Cable. 

She had a degree as a Master Gardener which showed in her yards and gardens, and her Bonsai trees were renowned and featured in the Tribune. 

She is survived by her children: Tracy Vandeventer, Shawnee Anderson, and Katrina Howell; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, as well as her beloved Doberman Pinscher, Tomi. 

She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. 

A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Mary's Cathedral on June 5th at 2pm.
