JoAnn Hettinger

JoAnn (Cordonier) Hettinger, age 85, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2025, in CT and is now reunited with her beloved husband of over 50 years, the late Thomas Hettinger. She was born on June 24, 1939, in Cheyenne, WY to the late Rose (Horst) and Henry Cordonier. She and Tom met in Cheyenne where they married and raised their family. They retired to Reno, NV where they lived until Thomas' passing in July 2023. JoAnn will be greatly missed by both her family and all those she touched during her long and full life. 

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Nancy and Floyd Valdez of NV; son Mark Hettinger of MI; daughter, son-in-law and grandsons - Lynn Hettinger, Christoph Geiss and Lucas and Oliver of CT, and extended loving family spread across the country. In addition to her parents and Thomas, she was preceded in death by her brother Wayne Cordonier.

JoAnn will be interred with Thomas at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens with a memorial service at a later date. If you wish to do something in her memory, contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
