Joan Lavon Stewart, 72, of Pine Bluffs, passed away November 10th.
She was born June 16, 1946 in Kimball, Nebraska.
Joan was a teacher’s assistant and a meter reader before her retirement. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and winning at the Deadwood Casinos.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Stewart; children, John (Kelly) Stewart and Lori (Jerry) Bowman; five grandchildren, Tyler Bowman, Jason Bowman, Cali Stewart, Sydne Stewart, and Sean Tevebaugh and a great-grandchild, Clayton Bowman.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Margaret Hilterbrand and a brother, Jack Hilterbrand.
Celebration of life will be Saturday, Nov. 17th from 2-4 p.m. at the Pine Bluffs Community Center.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
