Listen to Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and lifelong friend, Jeffery Allen Clark (Pops). Jeff passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 2, 2025, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, at the age of 65.

Born on May 17, 1960, in Cheyenne to Sharon Brown, Jeff spent most of his life in the community he cherished. As the eldest of four siblings, he set an example of kindness, humor, and resilience. Jeff graduated from Cheyenne East High in 1978, where he excelled academically and was especially gifted in Math and Spanish. His passion for learning was matched only by his love for the outdoors—hunting and fishing were among his favorite pastimes. A true rock and roll enthusiast, Jeff’s extensive music collection was a source of pride and joy, and he could always be counted on to share stories and trivia about his favorite bands.

Jeff’s quick wit and infectious sense of humor made him the life of every gathering. Whether pulling pranks on his siblings or sharing laughter with friends, he brought light and joy wherever he went. His natural leadership and business acumen led him to excel in every job he held, often rising quickly into management roles. But it was his warmth, generosity, and unwavering support for those he loved that truly defined him.

In the 1990s, Jeff’s greatest joy arrived with the birth of his son and daughter. He was a devoted father, always cheering on Dustin and Katie in every endeavor and teaching them the values of hard work, respect, and compassion. He passed on his love of music, his sharp wit, and his boundless sense of humor, creating a home filled with laughter and love. Becoming a grandfather

in 2016 brought Jeff even more happiness, and he cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren. His love for his family only grew as it expanded, and he found true fulfillment in their company.

Jeff is survived by his son Dustin (Donna) Clark of Cheyenne; his daughter Katie (Matt Lincoln)Clark of Cheyenne; his eight grandchildren: Sylvie, Rhys, Ronan, Ralua, Asher (Justice), Darken, Alex, and Patrick, all of Cheyenne; his brother Paul (Linda) Brown of Cheyenne; his sister Barbara Raines of Lufkin, Texas; his uncle James (Sheila) Clark of Cheyenne; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Sharon Brown, sister Kathy Watson, uncle and aunt Sid and Linda Clark, and his grandparents, Fred and Kathleen Clark.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Jeff’s honor on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the Wiederspahn-Radomsky’s Gathering Place located at 1900 E 21st St, Cheyenne, WY 82001. Jeff’s legacy of laughter, love, and music will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. As a tribute to him, the family is asking for those attending to wear a favorite band t-shirt.
