Jay Nussbaum

Jay Arlen Nussbaum Jr., age 60, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away on August 27, 2026, at his home in Cheyenne.

Jay was born on January 23, 1966, in Ottawa, Illinois, to Jay Arlen Nussbaum Sr. and Shelbia Jean Nussbaum.

Jay graduated High School in 1985 from Cheyenne East High School, and attended LCCC for Communications. He also worked for several years for the Laramie County Senior Center, where he me his beautiful wife Annalee.

Jay will be remembered for always being there for everyone and always being quick with a joke. Jay loved the Wyoming Cowboys, the Dallas Cowboys, Jeff Gordon, and the Chicago Cubs. Jay was a proud American who loved his country very much.

He is survived by his loving Wife Annalee; his Mother Shelbia, Sister Debby, Brother David, Brother Randy, sister and brother in laws, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jay Sr., his Brothers Denny and Kenny, and many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held in October at Capital City Church in Cheyenne, WY. In place of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the GoFundMe set up for Annalee.
