Jacqueline Louise Winslow

Jacqueline Louise (Ellis) Winslow, 93, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully with her husband, Edward, of 73 years, by her side.

Born May 4, 1932, in Cheyenne, Jacqueline was the daughter of Arthur Paul Ellis and Babette Louise Horn. She attended Cheyenne Central High School and graduated in 1950. She married Edward S. Winslow on December 28, 1952, in Cheyenne, WY.

Jackie lived in Cheyenne her whole life. She raised four sons and one daughter. She worked for Mountain Bell for a short time before she got married. She also worked for the State of Wyoming for several years as a Medicare processor. She retired in 1989.

She loved to study the bible and was an active member of the First Congregational Church where she taught Sunday school. She worked in flower arranging and created many wedding arrangements. She also enjoyed making wedding cakes, especially for her children and other family members. Jackie also enjoyed the season when she made cloth dolls and Cabbage Patch dolls.

She spent many years coaching her children and other children in the Junior Bowling League at Bowlerama. Ed and Jackie also bowled in many leagues. She loved spending time with the family at their cabins in Fox Park and Centennial, Wyoming, where her best family memories were made. Jackie served on the Cole Community Pool board for years, and the Winslow family enjoyed summers there. She also enjoyed baking, crafts, reading, and especially being with her family, whom she was devoted to.

Jackie is survived by her loving husband, Edward, and five children: a son, Mike Winslow and his wife, Patty, of St. Charles, MO; a son, Patrick Winslow and his wife, Sara, of Ogden, UT; a son, Kelly Winslow and his wife, Christi, of Erie, CO; a daughter, Kathleen Winslow, of Greeley, CO; and a son, Eric Winslow and his wife, Tia, of Douglas, WY.

Also survive are her 16 grandchildren: Tim Winslow, Hannah Kaufman, Heather Winslow, Nate Winslow, Katie Winslow, Chelsea Dyer, Mariah Irwin, Chloe Winslow, Stephanie Winslow-Sell, Danielle Moore, Kendra Seymour, Levi Blakeslee, Lukas Blakeslee, Rachel Cook, Jack Winslow, and Meadow Winslow.

And her 19 great-grandchildren: Abbi Swanson, Liam Swanson, Edison Swanson, Teddy Swanson, Moonshine Kaufman, Iza Kaufman, Winona Kaufman, Olivia Winslow, Miles Sell, Asher Sell, Brooks Sell, Emery Moore, Oliver Moore, Ellis Seymour, Aldrin Seymour, Hailey Baros, Violette Cook, Charlotte Cook, and Coraline Blakeslee.

The family will plan a private Celebration of Life at a later date. Cremation is under the care of Wiederspahn Funeral Home.
