Homer Richard Martin, Jr. (Dick), 85, passed away peacefully surrounded
by loved ones on December 29, 2025, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Born in Wild
Horse, Colorado on August 23, 1940, Dick was a dedicated and
well-respected Maintenance Manager for the Union Pacific Railroad for 42
years. He was also a Scout Master for many years, as well as Governor
of the Moose Lodge and President of Rawlins Speedway. Dick loved
fishing, racing stock cars, and watching his children, grandchildren and
great grandchildren grow. Dick was preceded in death by his parents
Homer and Francis Martin; his nine siblings: Raymond Martin, Donald
Martin, Joseph Martin, Clem Martin, Anna Lee Dwyer, Helen Scott, Minnie
Dyche, Lois Martin and Rozella Macy; and his grandson Adam Martin. He
is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carlene Martin; his children Brenda
Powers, Richard Martin, Barb Frost, and Valorie Brown; his grandchildren
Carlene and Christi Powers, Richard, Christopher and Alison Martin,
Jacob and Tara Frost, and Michael O'Bryant and Bethany Brown; and 13
great-grandchildren. Dick will be greatly missed and forever in our
hearts.
