Helen Jo Walker Seeley

On Sunday, May 18, 2025, Helen "Jo" (Walker) Seeley went to sleep in the Lord at 91 years old. Jo was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.

Through her stubbornness, Jo overcame many health issues over the past 7 years including a craniotomy and continued to fight the good fight until she surrendered her fight peacefully at Davis Hospice Center with her son Joel Seeley by her side. Jo will be lovingly remembered by her children, Kim (Mike) Baker, Chris (Don) Bridges, Michael (Jeanette) Seeley, Melissa (Jeff) Matney, and Joel Seeley. Grandchildren; Tyler Bower, Trent Baker, Paul Richardson, Shawn Seeley, Jake Seeley, Tonya Solley, Stuart Campbell, Chelsea Diaz, Hannah Campbell, Isabella Bolin, Kourtney Matney, Kody Matney and 25 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Seeley and her parents Guy and Elsie Walker. Brothers Wayne, Del, Skip and Sisters Dory, Jaye and Ann. Jo will be remembered for her talent in quilting, drawing, jewelry making, crafting and her best was her cooking. Especially her Danish dumpling soup, macaroni and cheese, fried chicken and her pineapple upside down cake. Her secret ingredient was her love of her family and her kindness to everyone she met.

Jo's family would like to thank the entire Davis Hospice staff for their loving care of our amazing mom. We will see our mom again when Jesus comes to take us all home.
