Gary Edward Moore, 83, of Cheyenne, passed away unexpectedly November 12, 2025.

He was born on February 20, 1942, in Greeley, Colorado to Hazel (Bay) Moore and Edward Moore.

Gary attended schools in Greeley and graduated from the University of Northern Colorado. He was a veteran having served as a Naval aviator during the Vietnam War. He was a realtor with #1 Properties for many years and for an intervening period of time worked and owned Modern Banking Systems and Advanced Financial Systems.

His favorite pastimes were flyfishing, fly tying, bird hunting, and weight lifting. He was a long time member of First Presbyterian Church and former member of Ducks Unlimited, Trout Unlimited, and Daedalians.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Moore; his children, Jason Moore, Eric Moore, Patrick Moore (Vicky), and Kate Goepfert (Lee); his brother, Jan Moore (Jo); his sister, Deb Watts; grandchildren, Keeli Goepfert and Oliver Moore; niece, Cindi Hendrix; nephew, Shawn Watts; and several cousins and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Moore and Hazel Moore; and his nephew, Aaron Watts.

A funeral service will be held December 12th at 2:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church followed by a reception in Fellowship Hall.
