Evert E. Hunnel

Evert Elvin Hunnel, Jr., 72 of Cheyenne, Wyoming died on August 21 at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. He was born June 28, 1954 in Cheyenne at DePaul Hospital. Evert was the youngest of five children and a surprise. Evert had degrees in welding and auto-cad from LCCC. Evert worked at Sierra Trading Post for over 25 years and at Best Products for over 15 years. He also worked at APW Wyott, Unicover and Hertz Rental Car. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and hunting. He was passionate about animals, especially cats. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Hunnel (Beth) and two sisters Velda McLamey and Nola Lehman. Evert was preceded in death by his parents Evert Elvin Hunnel, Sr. and Vivian Deladson (Beaver) Hunnel. One sister, Evertice Paulson and one brother, Elvin Evert Hunnel preceded him in death. Services will be at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 11. There will be a gathering time for family and friends afterwards.
