Dorothy M. Allen

Dorothy “Dot” Allen, 92, passed away on March 8, 2025, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Dorothy was born on May 16, 1932, in McCook, Nebraska, to Clara and Fordyce C. Steinhour. She retired from both the American National Bank and the Wyoming Highway Department.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert G. Allen; her son, Robert L. Allen; and her brothers, Fordyce C. Steinhour Jr. and Gerald Steinhour. She is survived by her sisters, Donna Newland (Bernard) and Evelyn Grooms; her grandchildren, Kristi Matie (Alan) and John Allen (Christina); four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dorothy’s memory will live on through those who knew and loved her.
