Doris Elizabeth Buchanan, 91, of Cheyenne, died on December 24, 2023 in Cheyenne.
She was born on May 29, 1932 in Callaway, Nebraska.
Doris was a homemaker and caretaker for several family members as well as friends.
Her interests included stamp collecting, coin collecting, and plate collecting, which was a love she did not outgrow. Foremost however was her love of sharing a cup of coffee with friends.
Doris is survived by her three children, Linda Krix, Thomas Buchanan (Barbara), and Nancy Miller (Jim); six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three nephews; and one niece.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Booker and Hazel Aebig-Booker; her husband, Forest Buchanan; a sister, Lois Williams; a brother, Lawrence Eugene (Gene) Booker; a son-in-law, Dieter Krix; and a brother-in-law, Lloyd Buchanan.
