Dawn Louise Aguero, born September 1, 1968, in Greeley, Colorado, passed away on April 21, 2026. A cherished member of her community and devoted matriarch, Dawn was known for her vibrant personality, marked notably by her hot red hair and spirited nature.
Dawn was a graduate of Greeley West High School, class of 1987, and furthered her education at Aims Community College. Throughout her life, she demonstrated deep commitment to her family, having raised three children, a role she fulfilled with dedication and love.
She was a woman of diverse interests who found joy in sewing, watching wrestling, and enjoying the offerings of QVC. Her spirited nature and wide-ranging hobbies enriched the lives of those around her.
Dawn's proudest accomplishment was her active membership in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where she found community, solace, and purpose.
She is survived by her siblings, Diana Vasquez and Debra Kern; her beloved children, Amber Henderson, Levi Lovato, and Christian Lovato; and her grandchildren—Desiree Cox, Aaron Henderson, Luna Henderson, Zaylee Lovato, Tristen, Alexander, Bau, and Mayah McCafferty. Dawn also leaves behind nieces and nephews Marissa Vasquez, Kimberlee Loma, Brianna Loma, Alexander Proffit, and Christopher Proffit, all of whom held a special place in her life.
Dawn was preceded in death by her parents, Nana Wold and Robert Cox, and her grandparents, Maxine and Conrad Sweet.
Her family and friends will remember Dawn for her undeniable spark, her generosity of spirit, and the warmth she brought into their lives. Her legacy is one of enduring love, community commitment, and the joyful embrace of life’s varied rhythms.
