Clarissa Ann Ritchhart, 54, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, surrounded by love. Born on April 28, 1971, Clarissa lived a life defined by kindness, selflessness, and an unwavering devotion to her family.
Clarissa was the beloved wife and best friend of Michael Ritchhart. Together they built a life rooted in love, laughter, and deep companionship. She was a devoted mother to Ashlyn Ritchhart and Tiana Carter, and a loving mother-in-law to Jacob Carter. She loved being “Grandma” to her cherished granddaughter, Ivy Carter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Mount and Mary Plonka.
Clarissa had a gift for finding joy in the little things. She had a generous heart and an infectious smile that made everyone feel welcome. Family meant everything to her, and some of her happiest moments were spent gathered with those she loved most. She had a deep appreciation for adventure and simple pleasures such as four wheeling in the mountains, discovering new restaurants, sharing stories, laughter, and making memories that will live on forever.
Clarissa was also known for her strong work ethic and caring nature which she carried into her career. She worked with the post office for several years. No matter her role, she approached her work with pride.
Clarissa’s love and strength will continue to live on through her family. The lessons she taught, and the countless memories she created. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
