Christopher "CJ" James Dillan, born on September 25, 2000, in Longmont, Colorado, passed away Oct. 26, 2025, at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center in Cheyenne as the result of a brain injury.
He was the son of Michael Gust Dillan and Carol Cristina Eriskon and graduated from East High School located in Cheyenne in 2020. In 2021, CJ worked at the Trampoline Park in Cheyenne. His favorite place to work was at Justin Henderson Performance Horses as a stable hand. CJ loved hiking, hunting, camping, crocheting, playing Minecraft and chess. He loved helping Papa Terry work on vehicles, and he loved all animals.
CJ was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin, cherished by all who knew him.
CJ is preceded in death by his great grandparents: Dean and Donna Beck, Jack and Jane Snowberger, Bob and Henrietta Erikson, and Mary Ann Erikson; his grandfather: Cris Erikson; and great uncles: Steve Erikson and Matthew Snowberger. Their influence continues to resonate within the family.
He is survived by his parents: Michael and Kristan Dillan of Wheatland, and Carol Erikson and Larry Brasier of Loveland, Colorado who will forever hold dear the memories they shared; brother: Eddie Althoff of Loveland; sisters: Kenya Dillan of Wheatland and Sophia Dillan of Aztec, NM; CJ was also surrounded by the love of his grandparents, Edward and Dianalee Prime of Wheatland, Terry and Patty Miller of Cheyenne, and Michael “Mick” Dillan of Loveland; his family included a vibrant circle of aunts and uncles: Eve Lahti and Jarrod Schoeb of Missoula, MT, Raymond and Imogen Fiscus of Harrogate, North Yorkshire, UK, Nate and Nancy Ashby of Glendale, AZ, Sara Miller of Cheyenne and Jeremy Dillan of Loveland. Great Aunts and Uncles include Don and Christine Selman, Kathie and Bruce Lahti, Ann Snowberger, Diana and Buster Henderson, Tina and John Korlin, and Robert Erikson. CJ is also remembered fondly by his many cousins including Jenny Selman, Kayla Selman, Tory Harper, MacKinnon Harper, Jax Schoeb, Jace Schoeb, Chase Ashby, Aidan Ashby, Mikayla Ashby, Adeline Fiscus and Violet Fiscus among many others. They shared countless moments of laughter and joy, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Services will take place at Noon on November 15, 2025, at North Christian Church located at 2015 Tranquility Rd, Cheyenne, WY
As friends and family gather to celebrate the life of Christopher "CJ" James Dillan, they honor the remarkable spirit he brought to the world. His kindness, laughter, and bright smile will forever be remembered in the hearts of his loved ones.
