Carol L Humphrey

Carol Lou (Roberts) Humphrey passed away peacefully on May 11, 2024, at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. She was born January 10, 1937, in Boulder, CO to Faye and William Roberts. She attended elementary school in Boulder until the age of 11 when she moved with her mother to Burns, Wyoming where her mother would eventually marry Carl Weber. She graduated from Burns High School in 1955 and married William Humphrey on August 24, 1955. Together, they raised two children, Catherine and Roger. Bill and Carol enjoyed camping trips with their family, spending time with their grandchildren and tending their yard and flowers.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; as well as her mother, stepfather; sisters, Virginia Dodge, Louise White and Irene Humphrey; and brothers, Elmer and George Weber.

She is survived by her daughter, Catherine, of Cheyenne; son, Roger (Kathleen) of Torrington; along with grandchildren, Matt (Shannon) Humphrey, Kelley (Dustin) Nelson, Brady (Sydney) Humphrey, Annie Humphrey, Spencer Humphrey and Connor Humphrey; great grandchildren, Lucy and Eleanor Humphrey, and Teigyn, Christian and Parker Nelson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes on Monday, May 20 at 10:00 am with internment in Beth El Cemetery following the service.
