Carl L. Garrett, Sr. passed away on January 28, 2026, in Cheyenne. He was born on March 26, 1965, in Circleville, OH to James and Carol Brown Garrett.

He married Tara Fausnaugh on November 25, 1989, in Cheynne. Carl worked for 35 years as a “Dirt Relocation Engineer” for Aztec Construction.

Carl is survived by his wife Tara; daughter April (Bryan) Akers; sons Carl, Jr. (Skye) and Robert (Gretchen) Garrett; grandchildren Sophia, Zoey, Carl III, Harley, Kinsley, Olivia, Raeleigh, Brooklyn and Lindsey.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Michelle Thurber.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 12:00 pm at CrossBridge Alliance Church. A viewing will be held prior to the service at 11:00 am, with a Celebration of Life will immediately follow the service.
