Caleb Thomas Conroy

Caleb was born July, 3rd 2005 in Cheyenne WY. He is survived by his mother, Lory Smith (Joseph Smith) and his father Justin Conroy (Sarisa Conroy); as well as his sister, Amaya; and three brothers Conor, Liam and Landon. He passed away tragically in a car accident on May 9th, 2025. Caleb was a 2023 graduate of Central HS and was eager to start his life. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, Camping, Skiing and anything else outdoors, with a true love of the mountains. On his chase for big money, he found a love for the oil rigs. He worked for Precision Drilling and enjoyed learning everything he could and was looking forward to a career in the field. He was so young, vibrant and full of life. He had a smile that would fill any room and brought joy to so many lives. He was cherished by many and will be forever loved and honored.

The following was a poem written on a letter from Caleb to his father.

~ A man is one who cries with no shame. One who reads poetry with his heart. A man does what’s necessary to defend the weak. A man is emotions.

A mass will be held at 11:00am May 21st at St. Mary’s Cathedral and then a memorial service at Wiederspahn Rodomsky Chapel of Chimes at 2:00pm. There will also be a Celebration of Life at the Kiwanis Community House at 4:30pm, were we invite everyone who knew Caleb to join in remembering and honoring him.
