Brenda Lee Stangle (West)

Brenda Lee Stangle, 63, was born on January 24, 1962, to Norman and Jane West. She passed away on December 18, 2025, at Davis Hospice Center, surrounded by her husband and daughter.

Brenda grew up in a large family with one brother and four sisters in the small town of Galway, New York. She married her high school sweetheart, Robert, on July 28, 1979. Shortly after, they welcomed their first son, Jason. Brenda became a military wife and, three months later, moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming. She had two more children, Jeremy and Jenalee, and devoted herself to being the best stay-at-home mother she could be.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Robert Stangle; son, Jason Stangle; and daughter, Jenalee Case, her sisters; Janet Near, Carol West, and Barbara Mallory; grandchildren Sasha Stangle, Emily Stangle, Ty Stangle, Camren Case, Haleyona Case, and step-grandchild Trevor Walduck; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Jane West; brother Thomas West; sister Norma Kelleher; and son Jeremy Stangle.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, along with a joint celebration for her son Jeremy.
