Brandon D’narro Roberts, a soul who moved through the world with the quiet grace of a poet and the vision of a dreamer, stepped into the light of eternity on April 11, 2026, at the age of 53. Born on the first day of 1973, he spent a lifetime noticing the subtle beauty that others often missed, teaching us that every person we pass is a universe of stories, and every moment is a canvas waiting for a spark.
A gifted artist, Brandon did not just create; he spoke through his hands. His work was a mirror of his inner world—thoughtful, unique, and deeply felt. He understood the "sonder" of our existence, recognizing the sacred complexity in every stranger and friend alike. His art remains a bridge between his spirit and our own, a lasting resonance of a man who saw the world not as it was, but as it could be.
The masterpiece of his life, however, was his daughter, Tiauna Cherise Roberts. She was his heart’s rhythm and his soul’s greatest pride. In her, Brandon saw his light reflected and amplified, finding his deepest joy in the woman she has become.
His memory will be carried forward by his sister, Yolonda McGhee; his brothers, Rudolph Valentino and Henry Roberts; and a wide tapestry of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews—each holding a unique fragment of his story. Brandon now joins the ancestral embrace of his parents, Walter Romeo Roberts, Jr. and Diane Walker Haynes, and his siblings, Walter Roberts III and Andrielle “Dee” Bohanon, finding rest in a reunion beyond the veil.
In the stillness of his creative process, Brandon found his conversation with the Divine. We find peace knowing he is no longer bound by the world’s noise, but is held securely in the loving arms of the Lord. His life serves as a gentle command to us all: to embrace our own strange beauty, to cherish the act of creation, and to hold one another with the urgency of a love that knows no end.
A memorial service to celebrate his journey will be held on May 30th, 2026. Time and location will be shared as the date approaches.
Brandon D’narro Roberts will be missed by those who knew his name, and felt by those who knew his heart. He has not left us; he has simply become part of the light that helps us see.
