Bonnie Darlene Fancher

Bonnie Darlene (Carrier) Fancher was born October 9, 1934 in Bridgeport, Nebraska to Roscoe E. Carrier Sr. and Marian (Robb) Carrier. The family moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming a few years later.

Bonnie attended public school in Cheyenne and graduated from Cheyenne High School in 1953. She married Jim Fancher in 1954. Their daughter Jan was born in 1958.

Bonnie worked at F.E. Warren AFB in the 1950s when it was a training command. She later worked for the Wyoming Senate when it was in session.

Bonnie and Jim traveled the Rocky Mountain region attending square and round dances.

Bonnie passed away August 21, 2026. She is survived by her daughter, Jan (Randy) Martin and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jim; her brothers Roscoe Jr., Cecil, and Melvin along with her parents. Cremation has taken place and she and Jim’s ashes will be buried together. Per her wishes, there will not be any service or memorial.
