Benjamin Thomas Glenn, “Benji,” a vibrant spirit who touched the hearts of everyone he met, passed away on September 20, 2025, at the tender age of 19. Born on January 28, 2006, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, to loving parents Thomas and Bonnie Glenn, Benji grew into a young man with an adventurous spirit, quick wit, and a warm caring heart.
From his early days in Scouts to his graduation from South High School in 2024, Benji's journey was marked by curiosity, enthusiasm, and a passion for life. His time at Cole Elementary and Johnson Jr. High laid the foundation for the bright and adventurous soul he would become.
As a carpet technician apprentice at Steam Power, working alongside his uncles Ed and Roger Loghry, Benji found joy in the simple things and took pride in his work. But it was his beloved pets – dogs Henry and Beetle, and cat Monty – that brought him the most happiness, serving as constant companions and best friends. He was an aspiring vocal musician and enjoyed creating rap music with his friends.
Benji's impact on those around him was profound. His sense of humor and joyful presence lit up the lives of everyone he met. He had a special ability to bring people together, and many of his friends looked up to him for his warmth and generosity. As a loving and attentive uncle, he brought laughter and kindness to his niece, Willow, and nephews, Tuesday and Davy, leaving an indelible mark on their young lives.
Though his life was cut short, Benji's legacy lives on through the countless memories he created with his family and friends. His steadfast loyalty, caring nature, and generous spirit inspired all who knew him.
Benji is survived by his parents, Thomas and Bonnie Glenn; sisters Sara Glenn (Conner Johns) and Emily Glenn; niece Willow Fenstermacher; and nephews Tuesday and Davy Patrick, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Orvin and Shirley Christopherson, Robert and Betty Glenn, and his beloved aunt, Roberta Loghry.
As we mourn the loss of this extraordinary young man, we take comfort in the love, laughter, and adventures he shared with us. Benji's memory will be cherished and honored by all who knew him, and his spirit will continue to inspire us to live life to the fullest.
