Barbara Mae Shetima, 86, of Cheyenne, died on August 20, 1937 in Cheyenne.
She was born on February 18, 1937 in Zuni, New Mexico.
Barbara was a member of the Zuni/Pueblo tribe. She worked as a CNA for years, and loved taking care of the elderly and small children. She was with the Foster Grandparent program for 15 years and was also a cook in the school systems.
Her hobbies were Bingo and she loved spending time with her family and her dog. She had a heart of gold and will be dearly missed.
She leaves behind her daughter, Madeline IronShell; grandson, WarLance; and four great grandchildren, Makilah and Kalyaha IronShell of Nebraska, and Grayson and Samantha IronShell of Cheyenne.
She was preceded in death by her mother; her father; two sons; three grandsons; a son and daughter-in-law.
There will be a memorial at a later date.
