Barbara Jane Clingman

Barbara Sheller Clingman, 88, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2026. She was born on December 25, 1937, in Rawlins, Wyoming, to Calvin and Mary (McAdams) Sheller. Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alan Clingman; her son, Scott Clingman; and her parents, Calvin and Mary Sheller. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Susan (Pat) Jaure; her grandchildren, Cameron (Kaylie) Jaure, Clint (Katelyn) Jaure, and Calan Jaure; her great grandchildren Jaxon, Tate, and Ryleigh Jaure; her brother, Phil (Beverly) Sheller; her daughter-in-law, Victoria Clingman; and all of her cherished nieces and nephews. Barbara had a gift for bringing people together. She was an avid card player, teaching her grandchildren Gin and winning (almost) everytime, getting together for a round of Cribbage with her good friend Rondi and the girls, and even achieved the distinguished rank of Grand Life Master in bridge, a testament to both her skill and dedication. also enjoyed crocheting, golfing, and spending time in the kitchen preparing meals for those she loved. Above all else, her family was the center of her world. A devoted Jehovah's Witness, Barbara found strength and fellowship in her faith and faithfully attended meetings at the Kingdom Hall throughout her life. Those who knew Barbara will remember her outgoing personality, quick wit, and playful, ornery sense of humor. She was a wonderful storyteller who loved sharing memories—especially stories about her nieces and nephews. She never turned down a good margarita and could challenge just about anyone to a card game—usually coming out the winner. Her warmth, laughter, and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
