Arlene gave birth to their only child Susan Christina “Tina” Lowery on May 12, 1969, and moved to Wyoming in July, 1975 when Tina began school in the first grade.

Arlene served on the Cheyenne Board of Adjustments and the Cheyenne Planning Commission from 2002 through 2011. Arlene was President of the Southeast Wyoming Home Builders Association from 1996 through 1998 and received the “Lifetime Achievement Award” from the Wyoming Home Builders Association in 2009.
